Happy holidays

'Dickens described the holidays as "a good time: a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time: the only time I know of in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of other people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys." '

I agree. Happy holidays to my fellow travelers!

Two hundred thirty eight years ago

The real Tea Party started on December 16th, 1773. America was founded on people not wanting to pay taxes to the British. Now Two hundred thirty eight years later it seems we don't want to pay the U.S.A.

Peace and love to you all

Just wanted every reader, poster and critic of this failed blog to know, we love you!

Failed blog post number ... who cares! Colbert says we are all going to jail!

Sopa is good.

I hope I get a gentle cell mate.

Danny Goldberg is naive.

Web tracking, infecting and anonymous tools

http://projects.wsj.com/surveillance-catalog/?mod=djemalertNEWS#/search/... is a web site that certainly should be looked at. I found the most interesting to be the attempt to make one anonymous on the web. You don't want a web master to know that you are coming from DHS. Of course, this web site? The web master doesn't care. At least somebody came to visit!

This is a good holiday gift!

Yes, this is a holiday gift! https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/o2012-cup-of-joe

What holiday? The fact our country is still functioning!!

Tell Congress about how you don't want PIPA, even if you don't understand WTF PIPA is!

http://fightforthefuture.org/pipa/

Plays the same video wswordsman posted below. It will ask you to enter address than it will send a letter to your congress people about opposing this.

The main issue to me is the making web addresses less secure. If this bill passes it could be the end of this failed blog!

Get involved, this is not a drill!

Occupy this URL

This is a neat URL: http://occupytheurl.com/ You simply type in the url you want to occupy. It superimposes a nice graphic.

Maybe RG can find a use for all those tomatoes!

For RG: Here is something to keep you hot for Bachmann.

He loves Michele like a Christian hates Obama. http://youtu.be/e9bvreW08X0 This clip is a greatest hits of his secret desire.

This article might be totally made of hot air. Minor changes to our climate will really stress the ability of people to survive.

Please update Alicetime when you can

You know who you are. You know it is a google doc. If you call her, then update the file. How often have you called? Look it up in the doc. If you look at the file, then you will notice major events are missing. As Mom taught me, "It's all my fault." It doesn't matter if you don't know what I'm talking about. No one comments on this failed blog anyway.

Nixon, the music lover

"In the royalty of American music, no man swings more, or stands higher, than the Duke," declared Nixon. See:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-15036571

Rob mentioned this episode to me

This word came up on my screensaver- apprehension

2 understanding; grasp : the pure apprehension of the work of art.

After a rough day, reading this really cheered me up

http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2011/09/27/obama-poll-democrats-2012/ "It may be that Barack Obama will do to the Democratic Party what no one, not even Ronald Reagan, could achieve–which is to bring it to its knees." They stole a different quote from the National Journal.

It has taken five minutes to post this entry, ROB!

Vertical Evacuation

Hurricane Irene is heading towards New York City.

“There’s hardly any excuse for people not to know that there’s a hurricane out there,” Fugate said. Fugate is the Administrator of FEMA.

If a category three hurricane hits NYC, there is no way to evacuate horizontally. They have to have a "Vertical Evacuation".

What bothers me about this are those who don't have skyscrapers?

Happy birthday to my nephew Billy!

Congrats Sir! I barely remember turning 21!
